Mahā Śivarātri, 26 Feb 2025
Mahā Śivarātri is the great night of Lord Śiva, during which the darkness of ignorance is to be overcome. It is a time when past errors are foregone and the grace needed for overcoming their cause is sought through worship and prayer.
Whether in the temple or the home, the worship and prayer include the chanting of specific stotras (see below).
This annual Arsha Vidya UK event is attended by students, friends and family and is ably led by Pujya Sri Swamini Atmaprakashanandaji.
